Not that you could reason with ghosts, exactly, but most weren’t quite so bad as this one: an old man, seventy or eighty, who had been haunting a soon-to-be-sold mansion for at least twenty years. It was huge and grand and bright, and Celia knew she wouldn’t be able to afford it even if she worked another century.
