Summary
The Warrior of Light is every bit as amazing as the tales of her adventures make her out to be. She's a talented and powerful mage who dabbles in the ever curious Red Magic who's kind and fearless heart has touched many. To top it off, she had a beauty to her that could rival the Twelve. Or so it is told.
Vrtra has heard these stories passed around among his citizens numerous times. However, the Great Wyrm would have never imagined the renowned Warrior of Light to be a child from his home in Radz-at-Han.
He also would have never expected that the same child who entered his chambers so long ago to grow up to become said Warrior of Light. He remembers the encounter quite well, despite how fleeting it was. But does she remember him at all?

The road walked by the warrior of light is one of sorrow and trials, of enduring pain and despair so that hope may one day prevail. All of this is in preparation for the final challenge, to give an answer to one question. But what if Hydaelyn miscalculated and the warrior of light fell in a battle against the Angel of Truth before he could ever fulfill his purpose? Summary
A giant tower looms over the great blue expanse of the sea, pulsing every few seconds, a great red and purple beam shooting into the firmament. There’s no way to explain how it got there– one moment it wasn’t, and the next, it… it was. There was no noise, no great flash of light, it… just materialized out of thin air.
The Tower of Zot materializes on Thavnair's coast, bringing pain and despair with it. Cut off from the rest of the world, Ahewann and Vrtra struggle to keep Radz-at-Han afloat and safe, and the long work into finding ways to protect themselves from its evil begins.
Several Scions of the Seventh Dawn and one of their Warriors of Light arrive to investigate. The past catches up to them in unexpected ways. But can this truly mean salvation from the threat of the Tower of Zot, and with it, the Telophoroi, or are they only delaying a fate most terrible?
Chapter 6 - Secrets revealed. The past unravels like a loose thread and collides with the present. The Scions go to Meghaduta to face fate head on.

“Ah, well,” Ahewann mock sighs, curling his fingers towards his palms in order to get adequate pressure against Vrtra’s hide. “If you can’t muster up an answer, you will just have to accept what your servant offers up.”
A tunnel that leads from Meghaduta to the radiant outside world has finally been uncovered after months of toil and hard work. Ahewann and Vrtra disappear into the night to take full advantage of this. It would be a shame, after all, if they did not use their time wisely. And like this... it's much easier to let go.

Summary
The game has begun. From here on out, everything the other says and does will be judged by the other, weighing whether or not the words are mere observation, or ones that have a dagger hidden behind its back. Every action now has weight to it. A misspoken word or gesture could be seen as an attack. Thavnair’s peace and neutrality hinges on everything Ahewann does for the next week.
He’s ready. This is what he was born to do; keep Thavnair safe.
Garlean Empress Amalthea yae Galvus has arrived in Thavnair. Unable to lean on Vrtra for this endeavor without rousing suspicion from their Garlean visitors, Ahewann has to use his wits to guide Thavnair through his first diplomatic test as satrap.
He finds Amalthea... interesting. And she's of the same mind. They play the game of seeing if they can stay even with the other, ready to bare their teeth if they must. But maybe, in the end, they both want the same thing. And that's diplomacy.

It is rather inconspicuous; a piece of soft emerald brocade as long as a scarf, its silky material chased with red and gold metallic threads. He’d bought this right before his seventeenth nameday, and even seven years later, it still retains its beautiful texture and luster. He wraps it around his hands and holds it close to his chest, once again cursing himself.
Thavnair prepares for its first visit from the Garlean Empire's empress, Amalthea yae Galvus. As Ahewann's first real diplomatic challenge in his short reign, he's nervous. Quite nervous. A familiar comfort eases him during this time-- and catches Vrtra's attention quite well too.

Ahewann shrieks. He doesn’t mean to, he truly doesn’t— but when he pulls the curtain back, the first thing he sees is a massive wall of mossy wings, feathers and claws and a long, serpentine body that has four legs and a truly enormous head. Sitting here, in the satrap’s hall, was a dragon.
A young Ahewann meets Vrtra, and grows up with him at his side, through the good, the bad, and the terrifying. With every year that passes by, something changes. Something happens. And Ahewann leans on Vrtra through it all.

The alien Dragonstar shifts in its celestial cradle for the first time in sixty years. Vrtra is caught unawares by the intensity of its pull- and he and Ahewann flee from Meghaduta to wait 'til dawn for the madness to pass.
Even after this long, though. One wonders if they've deprived the other of their life.
