Lucifer remembers those eyes perfectly, from the way the light would shine and make those amber eyes look like crimson instead, how they looked just as shocked as he did when they met. How his eyes softened as they grew closer, but just as quickly that faded when that fateful day happened. now he can barely remember them, why would he? When it hurts to remember the look of distrust and sadness glooming over the boy's face.
Alastor can remember his eyes perfectly, they seemed soft, gentle like they couldn't hurt a fly. Oh how wrong he was when he saw them again, this time. Alastor couldn't see the beauty in them. -

„I…“ Sky‘s voice faded, before she blinked. „Forgot what I wanted to say…“
Alastor nodded slightly and mindlessly traced circles into the fabric of Sky‘s dress as he let himself get lost in her eyes.
„Just…“
Alastor was pulled back by her voice once more and noticed her gaze wasn‘t on his eyes, but slightly below that.
„Just this once?“ Her voice was small, thin, like a faint breeze fanning against Alastor‘s lips.
„Just this once“, he agreed softly, his hands coming up to cup her face, his thumb brushing over her scar, before he leaned down and closed the gap between their lips.

“Maman…” There was a layer of static in his voice, but it was unmistakable. That accent, that intonation — it was Alastor. After a century apart, she was finally reunited with her son.
Or, Alastor's mother finds a way to visit her son in Hell, finds out he's been dating the Devil (who's very much pregnant), and has a lot of revelations about things she once thought she knew.

After everything is said and done the ruins remain.
Lucifer and Alastor had slowly started to build up their relationship until Lilith came and destroyed it all. She had made sure that Alastor suffered under not only Lucifer's, but the whole Hazbin Crew's hand.
Lucifer would love to put all the blame on Lilith but the fact is, that he and the other's were at fault as well. Now Alastor is hiding, hurt and tired in a far away realm, trying to leave the past behind him and finally heal.
And Lucifer? Well he sure as hell will try everything in his power to make it up to Alastor again. If he has to tear up Heaven itself he would do it without a second thought. His heart is yearning for Alastor's love, his closeness, his presence. He needs him like he needs to breathe the air and if he could bath in Alastor's glorious light for just one more second, he would gladly take it and die in piece.
