Karl's heart was pounding so loudly he could hear it through his ears, muffling the loud noises coming from Sapnap's keyboard. He felt like he couldn't process this information, how Sapnap said this so calmly, like he had no inhibitions holding him back. Why couldn't Karl say things like that back to him? He was dumbfounded on how to respond. Should he make light of the situation, calling Sapnap a simp once more? Should he confess all of his feelings to his best friend right now, while he's still receptive?
"You.." Karl started, unable to finish his thought.
"I what?" Sapnap questioned plainly, his keys continued to clack rhythmically.

Summary
George's heart felt like it was going to stop when he heard "He's coming! He's coming." His stomach feels strange and he can feel something is happening there. "Where? Like there's a lot of doors," George asks. Sapnap responds, trying to crack a joke before George meets Dream. Dream was really nervous when Sapnap went inside to tell him that George is outside. He was scared of what George may think of him. Being his best friend and brother, Sapnap reassures him, and Dream becomes a little bit calmer.
George heard footsteps. It was from where Sapnap was. He felt nervous. What would he do when they met? Give him a hug? Hold his hand? Or perhaps-
Dream.
George felt his heart had stopped beating for a second. As soon as he noticed the men in front of him, his eyes became wider. Dream walks rather slowly towards him as George does the same. Dream is already smiling, whereas George is still laughing. Because of the sun, he can't see Dream's face very clearly. But Dream moved closer and covered the sunlight above both of them.
"George," Dream says relievedly as he smiles.

He thinks that one day Dream will consume him in his flame, and quit their search for his heart. George wonders if Dream knew he was the detective of George’s story, the one to quell his thoughts, the one he calls when he cries and he doesn’t know why. George wonders if Dream knows what he does to him, and there’s springtime and forest fires in his gaze, and Dream’s blaze rages in all its vengeful glory.
And once again George feels like Atlas, keeping the sky from putting out the fire out of his own greed. He holds the sky in his arms so it doesn't fall and destroy the earth like he can hear it whisper. The sky whispers in his ears and the smoke is stinging his eyes and Dream is looking at him in the entry hall with the rosewood banister and the coral red door.
