"Damian is not an Incarnation. That's worse. He's half-human. His other half is a pure demon. And not just any demon: that boy is a direct descendant of Leviathan."
"Okay" Jason ran a hand through his hair, considering his words. "What do we do?"
"I don't know" Tim admitted. "I'm not sure there's anything we can do. Damian is damned but he is also who he is. You can't save him."
For a moment, Jason seemed distant. It didn't last long. He hugged Tim and rested his head on his shoulder. "He's like us, even though he's biologically Bruce. We'll have to protect him, Tim. He'll only have us, in the end."

Also: Talia Al Ghul loves Damian so she leaves him behind just like she did Bruce years ago. Damian's brothers (and Alfred) decide that the brat is theirs now, whether he likes it or not.

Tim is not Tim anymore, not Robin, not a Wayne, not really Drake, not really human. Not anymore. Tiamat, broken by a demon, and remade into a creature of shadow, fire and blood a newly initiated fledgling of a race of Vampiric people. Possessing more power he can dream of, the darker side of him grows and helps him forget about his withered ties, helps him feel free if only for a brief time.
Empty but free, for now, his old life will catch up with him and when that happens, can he truly remain indifferent or become something more than the creature he is. The trial comes and with it, his chance at redemption and that of Jason's.
Invariably tied together as Jason's guide and Tiamat's mentor serves as the thread. Kaen, Mentor to Tiamat, is also working against time as the trial escalates.
