Welcome to the stage of Commedia Dell'Arte! A stage built for one and only star: Dimentio, the Charming Magician.
After being upstaged and having his role stolen by an imposter, Dimentio is none too happy and has exploited a loophole to gain an extra life and therefore an extra chance to return and get what he wants. All the while, Bowser and Luigi's wedding plans are on hold due to Dimentio's return, and it doesn't help that King Boo has his own game he's playing to win Luigi for himself.
Meanwhile, Kamek and Mario seem to have gotten rather close. Why are they talking about bugs so much? Are they even paying attention to Luigi getting kidnapped again? Who let them be friends?
