But, then N starts to experience strange dreams. Visions of Earth, of everyone dying, and then Cyn starts popping up. N thinks it's just bad memories, but then Cyn starts talking to him. And then soon after, things start to devolve and the outpost starts going to hell. N wonders... did they really defeat Cyn at all?

“No,” J growled, focusing her gaze on Lance again. One of her eyes changed to an X. “What was the last thing you said to me before Keith and I left for the Blade of Mamora? One. Chance. To. Answer,”
His gaze shifted to Cyn, who seemed to be watching the interaction from the sidelines. After a moment, she nodded, and the signal was clear to him. Lance’s gaze returned to J, but his expression became annoyed, as if he was caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing.
“Cute…” he muttered slyly, lowering his arms as a smirk grew. He started to push the blade from his neck slowly. “You know why I keep you around, J-?”
He was cut off when J moved her arm swiftly, making Lance’s face slack in shock.

Summary
We all know Cyn as the unfortunate host for the Absolute Solver, an incomprehensible eldritch monster hell-bent on devouring the universe. However, in this world she is a disassembly drone, a solver’s puppet along with her squadmates, J, V, and N.
Uzi Doorman ventures out into the endless ice storm, looking for the final piece to her puzzle: the Sick as Hell Railgun. She meets one of the angels of death that have tormented her kind for years, only to realize they both may have greater evils to face.
Uzi joins forces with her former enemies to figure out the answer to one question:

It's a tantalizing offer, one many people take. And over the many centuries, Cupids have evolved with the times. Nowadays, they are high-tech robots equipped with everything needed to help others fall in love.
The unfortunate side effect to this is that Cupids can't feel love, unlike humans. No Cupid, no matter the era, period, age, etc., could ever feel love.
Or... They aren't supposed to.

Tessa James Elliott survived the Elliott Manor Massacre.
