They say an open road helps you think.
All the open road does for Barty is scare him half to death. With 2 ex-street racer parents–one dead and the other a drunk–a dead-end line cook job at a shitty diner in East LA, and the weight of a college decision hanging over his head like an anvil, Barty thinks life might just be the bane of his existence.
But, he just has to make it 3 months.
They say love is one of the most important human emotions.
Evan doesn’t think this rule applies to him. The only thing remotely close to love he’s ever felt is the full-body chills he gets when hearing the sweet rev of his car. It’s not that Evan can’t feel emotions; he just doesn’t think the whole all-consuming, passionate idea of love is something he’s capable of experiencing.
That is, until his roommates' old friends-with-benefits shows back up and suddenly becomes all Evan can think about.
