As Philza drew nearer to the source, he found himself holding his breath, hoping for this all to be a misunderstanding— or for it to be a dead animal left behind, one that just so happened to have the other vampire’s scent lingering.
He reaches out, fingers curling against the bark of the tree, and he peeks around it.
His breath leaves him in a short gasp at what he finds.
A small child lies at the bottom of the tree, curled in on himself and deathly still. Blonde hair fell in his face, messy and unkempt, And skin as pale as snow. He almost appeared dead, like a fawn after a wolf attack, but Philza knew that appearance anywhere.
“A fledgling…?” He whispers, disbelief colouring his tone.

Then, a familiar, infuriating presence materialized at his elbow. Dream. Even amidst the glittering throng, he drew the eye. His mask was a masterpiece of emerald and silver, shaped like elegant, curling leaves that framed eyes the unsettling green of deep forest moss – eyes currently narrowed in Techno’s direction. He was draped in a perfectly cut suit the colour of new growth, impossibly slender next to Techno’s broad frame. Impossibly pretty, Techno thought, the observation hitting him with the unwelcome force of a physical blow. He hated how it made his chest tighten.

Techno blinked the purple mist away from his vision, the portal always messed with his head but not normally this much. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind faster. He heard Phil stumble slightly as he also arrived, his cane struggling to hold him up at the sudden weight. Techno robbed his eyes before opening them once he was less dizzy. He looked around blinking a few more times to make sure his mind wasn’t still wonky from the portal.
Instead of the red hot, rocky terrain and dangerous place they called the nether, the pair appears to be in some kind of throne room, the room covered in icy blues and sparkly golds. Two thrones sitting at the end of the long room, the thrones themself being the same gold and icy blue the room is covered in.
Techno looks beside him to see Phil being as shocked as he felt. He stepped closer to his best friend, his hand instinctively inches to his sword as he eyes the room around them. The pair jumped as they heard footsteps, a loud sound in the silence that the pair dissolved into.~~~~

Summary
The Manberg Hospital for Problematic Hybrids is a for-profit organization that claims to 'rehab' hybrids of all kinds to make them safe to be allowed into society. They are given government funding, produce several adverts and billboards to raise awareness of their good deeds, and assure the public that while hybrids are extremely dangerous creatures, with a little education and training they can become functioning members of society, like any human can.
However, behind the scenes, it's a different story. They pay off the Mayor to assure that he ignores the illegal status of their practices, they 'take care of' any outliers that attempt to alert the public to their methods, and they keep every door and window locked at all times. Their patients are miserable, and several of their employees are conflicted, and yet the organization continues with minimal issues. Most citizens don't care whether the organizations practices are ethical or not. After all, hybrids are dangerous, so they deserve to be put in their place.. Right?
Or, Purpled is being tortured in a lab, as are Ranboo and Drista. Punz and Dream are trying to get them out. Chaos ensues
