Summary
Madara and Hashirama have lived their whole lives on the same run-down street, just a few steps apart in a working-class neighborhood of a city on the rise. They work in their fathers’ shops, trade glances from afar, and fall into each other’s arms behind closed doors.
Ten years of a secret situationship. Ten years of the same routine. Ten years of pretending.
Then, one day, the city decides their neighborhood is worth demolishing.
Hashirama steps forward to lead the protest. Madara and others follow him.
But pressure builds. Loyalties splinter. And when peaceful resistance begins to falter, some decide it’s time to stop playing nice.
What began as a fight for their home is about to become something much harder to control. -
