      good god this fic. hands down one of my favorite interpretations of chuuya and thus skk- found this when i didn't have an account under the "sentient arahabaki" tag. kinda forgot about this fic, but earlier today a wip reaction video came out for this fic and I went " damn!! i've been wanting some 'dazai worships arahabaki' content!! and the author is on hitas?? i better catch up for when the full vid comes out + the next chapter!!"

      um anyways, skk makes me sick, I love them so much. hi author you've mentioned you read these so hellooooo!!!!! are you ready for complements on your writing????

      CHUUYA!!! hes my favorite what can I say, and he's written so well here- i feel like chuuya is constantly dumbed down and made more kind simply because he's dazai's partner... which is fine ig, but i don't like him written like that!!! i adore how the fic straight up says calling skk partnership "brains and brawn" is an oversimplification, because it totally is!! chuuya is a physics prodigy and knows his stuff!! dazai holds damn well in a fight and can throw a punch god (arahabaki?) damn it!! and then this one is a bit more embarrassing compared to defending chuuyas intelligence, but I think most people make chuuya way too nice... yes chuuya is nice to people he cares about, and he's only ever around people he cares about so i get it... no less though, I loved the scene where chuuya made fun of midoriya, in that cruel way that seemed kind to those not "in the know" (like dazai) how skk shared a secret high-five over making fun of another guys misery, their shared malice. and again, this fic is just ticking off all my niche boxes with the next line "he loves how his dog bares his teeth and calls it a smile" I am in love with the headcannon that chuuya doesn't smile gently often, its a smirk, a grin, "baring his teeth," a non-friendly 'smile' most the time, and his gentle smile is actually rare and only for those he truly cares about. like the way the electricity dude (i've never actually read/watched mha okay?? i already struggle with names irl..) said CHUUYAS smile was not-friendly/cold?? i re-read that to make sure he was talking about chuuya and not Dazai, because that description is so often given to Dazai, plus how chuuya was changing his personality like a switch and not relying on dazai to set the mood?? LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

      okay, starting with chuuya (because if it isn't obvious already, i love him.) the way chuuya intensifies skk interactions so drastically??? like- chuuya. what made you put your hands on dazai's neck and squeeze?? what made you go " does he carry your god? do you want to kiss him until you run out of breath??" after dazai said "lol haha you both are violent " (oversimplification but you get my point-) what made you bring up what i just said in public just to prove your point??? what even was your point?? "we may both be loud, but you don't get turned on by him???" (God i love skk, they made me so sick.) and dazai??? you masochist!!!??? why are you moaning at getting chocked??? why is your brain turning into pleasant mush at the reminder chuuya holds your god?? at the memory of chuuya flirting with you?? don't even get me started on their fight dude- "i thought you liked it rough"???? a match made in- heaven?? hell?? Idk where skk was made, but their terribly perfect for each other- chuuya making the two of them food?? I may have been calling out their freaky-ness, but that was so soft and cute??? same with the bandage wrapping, alter scene, first kiss, and all other fluffy moments (to the rando's stalling my account, no skk is not all freaky in this, just... when they are... THEY ARE.)

      okay!! Dazai!! gotta admit, I love his backstory in this?? i rarely see a Dazai backstory, and this one is on par with "flipping through the pages, I found you" level of Dazai backstory- so you know it's good!! I love the consept of dazai worshiping chuuya/arahabaki, so having that literally in his backstory and not something that happened /after/ meeting chuuya?? It scratched an itch in my brain- I would rant about his backstory, but well... yk.. the people reading this are either A. the author of the fic, or B. random people reading this bookmark.. and I only have less than 300 charecters left so... yeahhh

    In this AU, Yokohama is cut off from the world, feared as a lawless place ruled by villains. Rumors claim its “ability users” are mindless monsters consumed by their powers, stronger than quirks and compared to Nomu—especially after the Ame-no-Gozen incident. Most heroes avoid Yokohama, as those who enter rarely return.

    After Ame-no-Gozen, the people ame-no-gozen stabbed mysteriously revive, Fyodor vanishes, and Atsushi remains deeply traumatized. Around this time, Nezu discovers a traitor at U.A. and needs a spy young enough to blend in. Distrusting local detectives, he contacts Yokohama’s government, arranging both a peace gesture and a chance to study abilities. The Armed Detective Agency sends 19-year-old Atsushi, who can pass as a student, while only Nezu and a few staff know his true mission.     Chuuya wasn’t drunk enough for this but the alcohol that was in his system seemed to have mellowed out the gods’ more cannibalistic mutterings. Not by much but enough that Chuuya was able to put that particular catastrophe on the back burner.

    “So, you’ve been asleep for the last…” he tilted his head to the side as he thought, cheeks flushed from the wine, “…eighteen years? Or is it eleven?”

    Our body did not exist until eleven years ago; we existed but this body did not

    … well that answered his questions about whether or not he had been grown in a test tube.
