And that golden warmth is hard to come by in Gotham, where the skies are always gray, where safety often means staying inside, and where crooked electric companies syphon energy away from those that need it the most.
He is polite to a fault. Kind-hearted without calculation. Sweet in a way that’s entirely, almost disarmingly, genuine.

Theo waves back hesitantly, stopping when he feels Hector’s firm hand slap down on his shoulder. He looks to his side to see Hector waving at Clark as well. Hector leans in real close, whispering:
“I mean it, son. You bother that Kent boy one bit, and the town’ll have your head. Just leave him be.”
