I beat Marcy with a stick because she's my favorite character. This is an alternative universe where it follows the original story mostly until: The Core decides to torture Marcy to 'prepare' her for being assimilated into it.(P.s. His magic tingles under his skin, recently recovered after the Crystal Caves. He wonders if wearing this armor, the king’s spare armor, if he could be disguised when using magic to stop the fighting before there are more casualties. Maybe he could even convince Morgana and Mordred that he’s Arthur, and distract them while Arthur leads Camelot to victory elsewhere on the battlefield.

Impulse grits his teeth. Grian is ignoring him, and he has no idea why. He doesn’t want to use his status as team leader to force Grian to answer him—it would be wrong, and he’s not willing to trigger Grian’s memories from his and Scar’s old organization—but this is important. Why would Grian tell Skizz that he’d wake him up when they arrived?
His hands flex into fists, then stretch out again at his sides. He picks up the EMF from where it hangs on the wall in an effort to distract himself from his frustration, but he’s too agitated to be able to relax. And Grian still hasn’t answered him.
Or, Skizz is sick, Impulse is acting strange, and Scar and Grian don’t know what to do without their anchors.

"Sofia," Jason says, asking without asking.
She considers it for a moment, she really does. She taps a knuckle underneath her chin and finally says, "Give it a second." To Alessio, "Is this your final answer?"
Alessio looks over at Jason. "You do what she tells you?" He says. "Follow her around like some kind of dog? That's it? Is that really the life you want for yourself?"
Jason is quiet for one, two, three heartbeats. Sofia watches and waits for his reaction. "Guess it's better than rummaging around in somebody else's scraps," he says, tone dripping with disdain. "Remind me which one of us is supposed to be the dog again?"
"See?" Sofia says, looking back to Alessio with a smile. "He's learning."

He’s faced with the decision to betray Shadow's trust by revealing that his secret is compromised and lose what they have forever, or jeopardise Tom and Maddie’s safety by staying silent and intentionally deceiving G.U.N., risking everything they've built.
All Sonic has to do is maintain the balance without tipping the scales over the other, which shouldn't be an issue so long as he can keep his (probably, maybe, definitely romantic) feelings for Shadow under wraps.
