Summary
Tim’s still alive -through it all somehow he’s still here. Even if he barely talks to the family anymore, and he avoids the manor like the plague, and he goes MIA for weeks on end with little to no notice -he’s still plodding on.
But when a case comes up where someone gets torn apart with no murderer, murder weapon, or motive in sight -he begins to think that maybe he should’ve taken the time to talk things through with the others before it was too late.
At least Red Hood was also on the case, even if neither were the best when it came to teamwork. Or when it came to asking for help, for that matter.

“Fine,” Jason muttered, turning away from the edge. “I won’t go anywhere.”
Dick grinned, though he kept his distance, knowing better than to crowd him now. “Good. Now let’s get you back inside before Bruce gets home and freaks out.”
Jason snorted. “Too late for that. He’s been in freak-out mode since I crashed here.”
“True,” Dick chuckled. “But he’ll be worse if he catches you trying to take off with half-healed wings. And trust me, none of us want to deal with that.”
Together, they made their way back into the main nest, Jason’s steps slow and reluctant but steady. He knew he wasn’t ready to leave just yet—not really. And despite his grumbling, the warmth of the nest and his family’s watchful presence wasn’t something he was ready to let go of just yet.

He was dragon in all passable ways -- fierce, defensive of his charitable interests -- and yet failed to impress in others. He had no hoard; there was no evidence, on camera or in a witness account, of him ever having shifted.
Everyone who met him walked away with a shiver of something down their spine, uncertain what it meant. Thomas Wayne had set off the soft, human instincts and soothed them in the same breath, so visibly dragon -- and apologetic, at points -- as to be disarming.
Bruce Wayne apologized for nothing. He simply was. His teeth were sharp, his eyes even sharper, and he stared at those with opposing interests in a way that conveyed his delight in their confusion. In their inability to believe their own eyes and senses when that drowsy, long-disused human survival instinct woke in the back of their minds at the sound of his voice.

He couldn't help but let his mind fall back into the weeks he had been there. It had been strange at first, getting re-accustomed to his new body... again. Sure, at least this time he had an idea how to go about it, having had to do the same after waking up from the Lazarus pit. But still, it wasn't exactly easy. He was used to being a tank of a man, having been taller than Bruce and just as jacked. He got used to fighting with that specific size and weight class.
Now his body was slim, more closely resembling Dick's figure than Bruce's. He was still tall but not as tall as before. If he had to guess he was taller than Dick still but no longer near Bruce's height. He was still pretty defined when it came to his muscles and figure, but he definitely wasn't going to be mistaken for a weight lifter anymore that was for sure. Then there was the hair...
