If there is one legend Hyrule holds true, it is the Omen of the Sacred Blade; the repeated pattern throughout our long history; that when the Blade of Darkness' Bane finds its Chosen Wielder; disaster will follow in its wake.
But what everyone forgets is that those larger than life warriors of fabled strength are but mere people, like you and me, chosen by Destiny, hopelessly, helplessly and aimlessly wandering through the Dark.
And in that darkness, evil awaits an Opportunity.
A plague is coming, and an Omen might be Hyrule's only hope.
But one other thing that people forget; the Hero is rarely ever alone.

But when Zelda’s father makes a terrible offer, Zelda is forced to choose: her crown, or her freedom. Fleeing from the only place she’s ever known, Zelda finds herself working in the kitchens of the fearsome Chief of the Gerudo with only Link, a strange scullery boy, for company. But as tensions grow across Hyrule, Zelda finds that perhaps things are not as simple as her father and her history books led her to believe... (based on a collection of different fairytales!)

Summary
The Demon King is gone for good, and Zelda had given up on the hope that she would ever return to Link.
And yet, even after being Draconified, he managed to save her.
Zelda cannot allow life to go back to 'business as usual'. She never expected to have this chance, and will not waste it.
When Link lets slip that part of her original plan to help him from the distant past went awry, she latches onto it and pulls Link along for the ride. In the end, Zelda gets much more than what she bargained for and finds herself trapped with Link in an unknown land filled with strange people and no clear way to get home.
Well, maybe while searching for a way home, and dealing with the problems of this strange Kingdom of Hallownest, they'll finally manage to get that quality time she had been hoping for.

in a universe where Purah creates a device that helps the champions overcome the calamity, what if it were to malfunction, if it were to accidentally summon the hero from 100 years in the future?
this fic is basically just Purah accidentally time-traveling post-calamity/TOTK link to the pre-calamity champions (including her and Zelda) whilst he's wearing a mask, non of them realize it's him, and they now have beef since Link refuses to take it off and his fight or flight was triggered from being summoned, causing him to attack them. How are they going to realize that the weird Bokoblin acting Hylian(?) is Link, that all of them are dead in the future and that he's now a speaking, chaotic mess of the royal guard he once was???
Also, I only realized this 4 months after posting the first chapter, but updates are really slow, usually monthly. so if the latest chapter is around a month old, I'll probably post a new one that week.
(btw, the revilink isn't in here yet, honestly idk if I'm even gonna include it in the fic in the first place???)
