Antinous wasn’t a good person. He knew that. He never considered himself a righteous or moral person. He was selfish, barbaric, and perhaps even vain. He knew. But in a man eats man world, could anyone truly blame him?
He wasn't a good person. But perhaps he’d have to become one. Simply for the sake of staying alive.
See, recently, the Gods have been sending him dreams. Dreams of blood dripping onto castle floors from freshly lopped off heads rolling on the tiles. Dreams of Ithaca’s old King staring at him from afar, and angry red eyes shifting across the room, searching for his next prey. Dreams of a tightly wound bow, one that only Odysseus could wield, lodging a sharp arrow into his throat. Dreams like that.

Summary
It is the twenty first century and Telemachus is the son of one of the most influential politicians in the area, Odysseus. He is also being held hostage by the most powerful crime lord in the area, Antinous. Telemachus is forced to work for a crime syndicate that trains orphans into assassins and thieves. Telemachus doesn't understand why he has been imprisoned for over a year. However, when Antinous begins to reveal his schemes, Telemachus realizes that Antinous doesn't just want him as a bargaining chip. No, Antinous is much more interested in using Telemachus for his own benefit...in more ways than one.

In this AU, the prince of Ithaca during this time of this fiction has been using his time sparingly to properly fix himself to be useful as he believes he'll reign into the throne of his father, the King. As he's still considered missing during the 20 years away from home. The prince carries hope to believe that his father will come but until an answer comes from any moment, he tries to fend off the suitors from his mother.
Telemachus now has to deal with this new challenge of hospitality and patience with the suitor who takes most advantage of this, Antinous. Soon growing a new emotion with this hard shell of a person. Even starting to build an unbelievable bond that starts to grow between the two. Which only confuses the prince to this new side of the suitor. As he draws more closer and closer to a new friend? Best friend? Or lover? Time can only tell.
