“It’s where they’re most vulnerable. People make rash decisions when flustered, and rash decisions mean they’ll agree to prices they wouldn’t under normal circumstances. It’s a perfectly reasonable way to run a company.” Ancap had justified, posh accent made more refined by his defensiveness.

Another absolute favourite. The writing and characterization makes me go feral (totally not in love with Ilya). Goes farther than the usual stereotypes and makes the characters feel genuine and fleshed out, while keeping their stereotypical quirks. So sad it's ending so soon but cannot wait to see where it goes. Reread between updates. Eagerly waiting for the final chapters.
