“Kacchan, wha–” Izuku felt his heart drop to his stomach.
The boy in the mirror staring back at him was not the reflection Izuku knew. No, this couldn’t be happening. His curly green hair had been replaced by blonde tufts and in the absence of those large, expressive green eyes, layed a pair of thin red ones. His freckles and natural tan had disappeared for a paler more muscular body. But this body wasn’t his. This body was Katsuki’s.

James isn't technically supposed to make any elaborate plans all by himself, but Sirius is sad, and James has to do something about that. Surely, befriending Regulus to help the two brothers reconcile is a good idea, right?
Regulus is the smartest person in Hogwarts, and all he wants is to make his brother pay for leaving him, so coming up with a plan is surprisingly easy. It seems that the best way to exact revenge is to steal James Potter from Sirius and make him his best friend.

It’s there that they live and raise Harry in secret under the fidelius charm where Regulus himself is the secret keeper. The entire world thinks that they are dead, the only people who know the truth are none other than the Malfoys. Regulus didn’t mean to. He swears he didn’t. In fact, he’d argue this isn’t even his fault. It’s James’ fault. He should have never shown up at the Astronomy Tower that night. He should have never looked at him with those beautiful brown eyes and begged Regulus to make him sleeping potions.
Regulus should have pushed harder for a reason. He should have fought harder to say no. But come on, who can say no to James Potter when he’s quite literally on his knees begging for something? Regulus sure can’t.
So when he accidentally switches up the sleeping potion with the amortentia he was brewing for class?
OR
Regulus accidentally gives James amortentia. Chaos ensues.
