Or, never expect anything good to come from your father- and especially, never let a mysterious girl get close to you again. No matter how much you think you know her. The last one rang in his mind as he looked at the girl across from him.
‘Never’ apparently didn’t mean much in the Never-Realm.

Lloyd finally understood why.
If anything ever happened to them, the villains would move onto the next threat in line, the lower threat that still formed a threat in their eyes nevertheless. The threat they would only care about if the main threat was gone, because it was such an insignificant and easy-to-exterminate one, compared to the all-powerful ninja.
The people with close ties to them who hadn't participated in the fight for a reason.

Or: a civilian Lloyd AU where Harumi is still the Quiet One (also more psychotic and obsessive) but she's gonna prove that she cares, just watch her!!! :D (!!!)

Basically a rewrite of almost every Nico Di Angelo scene in the Percy Jackson series. Instead of being a child of Hades, he is a child of Aphrodite. But everything is the same, he just has Aphrodite powers.
Bianca is still a daughter of Hades and she also still dies.
Nico still does all the dangerous and lonely stuff he did in the book but all as a son of Aphrodite.
Nico has the same powers as Aphrodite herself but they drain him just as badly as his Hades abilities.
Hades acts like a stepdad for Nico. (lowkey a better parent than Aphrodite)
This is a very chaotic AU but very self-indulgent

Summary
Surviving in the wilderness really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
After being gone for a year, John Dory returns to the Troll Tree to find it completely empty. Save for one troll: His baby brother, Branch. Thinking the trolls and the rest of his family dead, he sets off once again to the Neverglade Trail, this time, with his baby brother in tow. Fueled by fear, guilt, and voices from the past he just can't seem to escape, he wonders if he made the right decision.
But he promised his brother he would never leave him again. So he wouldn't.
Besides, he was never known for his great decisions anyways.
(Based on the song "Great Decisions" by Judah & the Lion)

Or... I needed to write more John Dory and Branch ANGST, so here's my rewrite of canon, where John Dory goes back and raises Branch out in the wilderness, and other subsequent shenanigans. Let's see how this goes, shall we?

Wu had a unique bond with his brother. When Wu was teaching his pupils, he would set a good example onto them, as an experienced sensei should. But with Garmadon... That was hella different. The duo would cuss and swear like there was no tomorrow, and break every rule given to them as if it were a competition. It was quite the sight to see 2 old men act like 3 year olds.
