His vision grows woozy against the G-force, staring up at the orange supernova left behind by his Chaos energy. It’s strangely beautiful, now that it doesn’t run the risk of poisoning the Earth.
Shadow wonders if that’s what he’d look like to someone staring up at the night sky. The dazzling flash of a shooting star that someone might wish on, not knowing he’s the star that almost destroyed the world.

Reo and Nagi enter the limo and crawl to their seats. "Ba-ya. Help. Reo's doing it again," says Nagi; Reo makes boiling tea kettle sounds as she grabs Nagi's hand, squeezes it, and shakes it up and down with glee.

'I've been in ANBU my entire life, Yamato-taicho,' Sai said quietly when their drinks arrived.
'I know, I know,' Yamato groused, and tipped half of his drink into Sai's cup. 'Here you go. Cheers!'
They toasted, Sai sipping politely while Yamato threw his drink back and called for another one. The rate at which apartment blocks were going up these days was amazing; Yamato-taicho's pay was not being raised at an equivalent rate. 'So,' Yamato slapped Sai on the back cheerfully. 'What do you need me for? I'm all ears, Sai-kun.'
'Yamato-senpai,' Sai asked, opting for frankness in the company of a fellow trauma victim. 'How did you deal with Kakashi-sensei when you were in ANBU?'
'Hello!' Yamato slammed his glass onto the countertop with flourish. The bartender snapped to attention: Yamato was an excellent customer. 'Two more rounds, please!'
'Uh,' Sai said, as an entire bottle of sake appeared before their eyes.
'So,' Yamato turned to Sai with homicidal empathy written in his eyes. 'What did he do this time?'

Bucky’s still gasping like a fish and trying to roll to his feet when the other tribute raises a massive battle axe over her head. He thinks, so this is it when she starts her downward swing, prays that his family will still be okay, even with him gone, and curses himself for letting his guard down so soon.

Draco is beginning to redeem himself and come out of his shell, and Harry is realizing his purpose again without the War to control him.
