Cuarenta y tres años después del Día de las Sombras, el Internado Libertas: Institución Obligatoria para Jóvenes Insólitos de Reino Unido, finalmente se ha quitado de encima el terrible estigma que la población le había dado, las promesas de los grandes gobiernos finalmente se han hecho con un inamovible lugar en la opinión pública y las movilizaciones ciudadanas ya no pueden celebrarse por la falta de apoyo. Cuarenta y tres años después, son solo los confinados jóvenes de Libertas quienes saben qué es lo que en verdad se vive del otro lado de los enormes muros grises.
Cuarenta y tres años después del Día de las Sombras, diez años desde la admisión de su primera promoción de estudiantes, los Jóvenes Insólitos de Reino Unido finalmente se han graduado, se han enlistado en el servicio militar obligatorio de la Gran Unión y le han dado una vuelta de tuerca a la Guerra Eterna.

“Did you hear?” one murmured, her eyes sparkling. “The Council is sending dragons here! Here! Can you imagine?”
Euijoo froze mid-step, the strap of his satchel digging slightly into his shoulder. Dragons? In Vaelith?
The other woman gasped, barely able to contain her awe. “Dragons? Here? Do you think they’ll let us see them?”
Euijoo’s pulse quickened, though his face remained calm. Dragons weren’t common. Only a tiny fraction of the population could transform, and most were then trained for combat. The humans revered dragons—they were symbols of strength, wisdom, and power. If the Council was sending them here, it meant the city was about to witness something extraordinary or something terrifying.
