Partly because he's with Lois and because he was a 30-something, rude, sarcastic, unaffectionate, vigilante, who in their right mind would want him?

    Finding himself in the wrong Universe, Peter thinks quickly on his feet and uses everything he knows from the Universe he actually belongs in to survive in the one he has found himself in.

    Inspired by Dark Matter by mysterycylone

    The first bit of the first Chapter is from Dark Matter Chapter 3.

    If you've read Dark Matter, everything up to the point where Peter is hacking to take money from Bruce Wayne still happens and is still relevant, but in this, Peter takes more than just five hundred dollars and he invests very wisely in himself with those funds, it doesn't take long for Peter to get enough money (that he made on his own and didn't have to steal) to get on his feet and of course he pays Bruce Wayne back, which like, Bruce didn't even notice the money missing or notice when the money was paid back with interest.

    Summary

    This series is a Batman x Addams Family Crossover, where instead of being resurrected as a result of the whole Superboy Prime thing, Jason Todd is resurrected by Gotham Herself. Which has some consequences.

    I picked DC, and Addams Family, canon and retcons, put it all in a blender, and after it was all mixed, I cherry-picked the bits I wanted to use.

    ATENTION: this series will be tagged "Batman - All Media Types" and "Addams Family - All Media Types" in almost all stories, because these are the basis of my AU. And, "DCU" when I am unsure if a non-Bat or non-Addams character shows enough to merit their Fandons tagged or not. Like cameos, or short appearances.

    I DID BORROW SOME CONCEPTS FROM OTHER FANDOMS, but I will NOT be listing them because they won't really be crossovers.

    Unless a different Fandom ends up having an actual crossover in a SPECIFIC story of this series, then and ONLY then, said fandom will be listed ON THAT SPECIFIC story.

    I don't want to falsely advertise something I won't be delivering.

    On his day off tomorrow, Jason will try to get the swelling on his eye down. He’ll try to sleep, cook, sleep some more, then wake up and go to work again, long hours in the hospital on his Ortho rotation. Jason doesn’t really have hobbies, besides fighting. He isn’t a person in any way that feels real. Somedays, he wonders if he ever had more than this. If he ever was more than this. It doesn’t seem likely.

    He thinks a lot about divine punishment, and about who he was before, and about how, probably, he’ll never even find out.

    The new hospital fund, courtesy of the Waynes, swept through the hospital weeks ago. It’s meant more funding for facilities and for Jason’s patients. It’s helped their families stay alive and keep afloat. Jason himself is still drowning and paranoid, his forgotten past warring with his violent present, his day life warring with the night. Gotham’s underbelly is surfacing, dragging with it new faces, and old ones, too. Jason can't really trust the Bats or the Waynes or the gangs crawling out onto Gotham's streets. Maybe he can't trust anyone at all.
