Tommy Innit is 14, and has Usher Syndrome. This means that he cannot hear—to an extent. When he has his hearing aids, he can hear just fine.
When being the key word.
It's a sort of sport for Tommy's many foster parents to take them as punishment, and Dream is the same. The only thing different with Dream is that Tommy doesn't really mind him taking them. It's always a fair punishment, and Dream never breaks them. Tommy has been living with him for a year now, and Dream is by far his favorite foster parent—and his best friend.
But when CPS take him from Dream's house, his life begins to unravel. He's forced into a home with people he doesn't know, new rules to learn, and no clue to what he's doing.
Don’t get him wrong—Phil and his sons are nice and all, but the Crowes are strange people, and Tommy's not sure that even his endless supply of guides can help him this time.
But maybe, by turning his life upside down and back again, this house and its family can show Tommy what the word "love" truly means.

'BREAKING NEWS: Our beloved number 3 hero, Phantom Chaos, was announced dead earlier today. Reports said that he died while on a top secret mission. We hope to have more information at a later date-', Tommy zoned out with a small smile, before quickly wiping it from his face. He's still in a public space. He quickly paid for his muffin before rushing out of the bakery to his apartment. Nobody needed to know.
OR Tommy is the ex-number 3 hero who everyone thinks is dead. A few months later he meets Ranboo and Tubbo and quickly becomes friends with them. A year later he's agreeing to become a Vigilante with the two, completing the bench trio (Their name might or might not have something to do with the fact that their first sighting together was of them stealing a bench, said bench might of then been launched across a street to stop a kidnapping.....)
OR OR Author read one too many Vigilante stories, became obsessed with them so decided to write their own. But the characters actually have more then one collective braincell.

Dream needs this. Dream needs to sleep, and if it happens to be in George's bed, then so be it.
After a couple of minutes, Dream adjusts slightly, tucking his arms under his head. George watches motionlessly, worried he's going to stir awake, but he doesn't. He's laying on his stomach, with the side of his head resting on his folded arms. He breathes out, softly, a content sigh.
George wants to reach out and touch him, the desire is tugging at his muscles. But he's delicate like this. One misstep and he'll slip back out and into consciousness.
Or, Dream is struggling with insomnia. An embarrassing revelation leads him to find out that sleeping comes easy only when he's laying next to George.

Using her as bait against their enemies because she was a woman; pushing the attention of the forest fire around L’manberg onto her so Sapnap could continue to burn it to ashes-- that was all Alyssa would ever amount to in their eyes.
She didn’t want to believe it at first, but with hindsight, it was all crystal clear. She was always the butt of the joke, always the last to be picked with these men. It was juvenile at first-- jokes from their childhood-- but now as they entered and cemented themselves in adulthood, in times of maturity and severity, it was worse than being the butt of a joke, she was now the scapegoat.
L’manberg wanted women, so Dream decided to give them a ‘woman.’ L’manberg needed someone to chase? Throw the weak one into the line of fire. Throw the least necessary one.
