Yo, Ive been thinking about this for a while but im not satisfied with the first arc anymore. Much of the story’s core will remain but there will be some major shifts in character relationships.
Arriving in Inkopolis in search of someone close to him, our yellow Inkling is quickly sucked into a chaotic new life as he becomes Agent 4 for the New Squidbeak Splatoon. Follow his adventures throughout Inkopolis as he, Pearl, and Marina go from friends to family all the while he unknowingly walks towards his fated death.
Meanwhile, something is brewing in the background. Code Name: The Octoling Transmutation Project.

The more they stay the same.
The year is 2020 ME, and the Splatlands are an okay place to live. A city in the middle of the desert, it has drawn in both Inklings and Octolings, making it the current center for Turf War culture. And being only a 40 minute train ride away from Inkopolis, it’s easy to get to and you could do a day trip to either city.
Except. Things aren’t all okay. There’s been rumors that the Octarian army is under a new leader, bitter about those that defected due to the power of the Calamari Inkantation. Ink Sports have been sabotaged by unknown forces. And caught in the crossfire is an underground bunker holding an ancient cryolab and a recently awakened society of around 90 humans.
