Admittedly, there were times when Jonathan considered strangling Mike with a pillow case in his sleep. The amount of times he’d seen him obliviously decimate Will’s feelings while in his own little world was enough to warrant it.
Yet, Jonathan wouldn’t say he disliked the kid. He was just a kid, after all. He had watched as he endured years' worth of trauma, as he lost a best friend and then a girlfriend over the course of a couple weeks, as he his best friend in the world got possessed and tormented by Vecna, as he was helpless to fight him and just tried to be supportive. He was just a kid, and he cared about Will as much as Jonathan did. How could he hate him, even if he was obnoxiously unaware of how his relationship with El hurt Will time and time again?

As his gloved fingers closed around the blade, he felt a soft click against his fingertips, and he watched in confusion as the hilt of his sword opened up like a mechanical flower.
This isn't my sword, he had time to think, but he didn't understand what was going on until it was too late.
The green ray of lightning was almost blinding when it shot from the sword and hit Chrissy square in the chest, her eyes widening and her mouth forming a surprised o. Eddie saw the moment she died, the exact moment her eyes went vacant before the blast threw her back across the stage.

Eddie couldn’t see what the other was doing. He assumes the other was washing the dirt and grime from his face. Then after a moment, Steve pulls the white tank top from his body. Peeling it off as if it were a second layer of skin. Up until this point it had been. It wasn’t hiding much. The other’s sweat had soaked through it making it almost entirely see through.
Eddie blushes when he realizes he was staring. Watching the way the muscles on the others back flexed. It was very attractive. He’s not sure why the hell he finds a back so hot.
His face is a light pink before he is quick to look away. Focusing back on the fire he was supposed to be building. His heart racing in a different way than it had been earlier when they had been overrun.
