    Ned cheers loudly into his ear once more. Peter feels frozen in place.

    Heir to Stark Industries…? Peter feels a knot form in his stomach. Tony wanted to leave the company to him. No, didn’t want to, he already had. Heir… Peter hadn’t agreed to that.

    Jarvis is the one who finally teaches her how to breathe.

    Toni Stark grows up with the tale of Icarus swirling in the back of her mind. Instead of taking it as a precautionary tale about hubris and overreaching she decides it's more about the limitations of wax.

    Years later when she builds herself wings of her own she makes sure to build them out of better material.

    Tony couldn’t remember a time when he hadn’t had his soul Tsum. The little thing had appeared as soon as Tony was born, which wasn’t completely unheard of. It just meant that his soulmate was older than him, old enough to have already developed their own Tsum characteristics, so maybe early teenage years. That happened all the time. It wasn’t even particularly scandalous. They’d probably meet later in life, when the age gap didn’t mean quite so much.

     

    What was unusual was how cold his Tsum was.

    When Tony is kidnapped in Afghanistan, it takes the team three months to find their Alpha and bring him home.
    But Tony doesn't seem quite right anymore-- he locks himself in his lab obsessing over building these new suits, hides his damaged wings and scarred chest beneath layers of clothing, and feeling like a failed Alpha, he wont let the Omegas anywhere near him- especially Bucky.

    The family comes together to show their Alpha that he is not broken, just hurt, and they don't care about his wings or the arc reactor that has changed his scent, but Tony isn't listening.

    Drowning in his depression, unable to sleep from the nightmares, and discovering horrifying secrets about his family, his past, the man he had called Uncle Obadiah and the way the Winter Soldier ruined his life, Tony is just a shell of himself, and the family doesn't know how to help him.

    Tony doesn't know what to do either.

    How can he get better when Coming Home doesn't feel like Coming HOME anymore?
