If Wooyoung had known what chaos would break lose once the teachers caught wind of his crush (and only because Yeosang called it that, by the way), he would have never said a word. He was just a boy, stressing about his grades, tests results, student rankings, exams and graduating like any other 18-year old high school student. The regular stuff, right? There was no time for games or hobbies or this non-existent teacher-crush to entertain his friends.
Only ever studying and taking care of his family.
When teacher Choi calls him to stay back after class one day, it was surely to tell him his grades were dropping. Or to hand him the provisional draft for the final exam, of course (that's also something only Yeosang said).
Being the teacher's favourite had its quirks, but Wooyoung could have never imagined to what extent.

What about me, she wanted to beg, what about my wound, but she knew that, too, was a childish fantasy. That it would be more work than anyone was willing to put in to get past the walls she put up in the form of busyness and delight and surface-level vulnerability so they couldn’t see the depth of her hurt and grief lurking inside.
