She smiled at him and took a sip of the liquor. His eyes did not stray from hers as she did so. The moment seemed to stretch and Park Jin, like the lovesick fool he was, got lost in her warm brown eyes. She must use spells to make them shine as they did, mesmerising and enchanting as they were.
It took him more effort than he would ever admit for him to tear his gaze away. Taking the offered cup, Park Jin swilled its contents for a moment before bringing it to his lips.
He made sure his lips touched the same place as Maidservant Kim’s had. This, he thought, was the closest he would ever get to kissing her. Closing his eyes, Park Jin savoured not the taste of the fine liquor but of the sweeter feeling that her lips had left.

Michael's eyes lingered on Dennis’s for a second; it took a minute for him to understand that the older man was waiting for him to introduce himself. “Ah—sorry, Dennis. Whitiker.”
“Nice to meet you, Whitiker.” The genuine tone made Dennis pause. Their hands parted, but not before a brief, surprising moment where neither of them seemed in a hurry to pull away.
He was only able to squeak out a small, “You too.” Before turning and focusing on the general store across the road, that suddenly seemed more interesting than the very handsome older man sitting next to him.OR

Eighth Year wasn’t supposed to change everything. Hermione Granger returned to Hogwarts for her N.E.W.T.s and a semblance of normalcy; Harry Potter wanted peace for once and to not die, Ron wanted sleep and for his friends to be within his eyeline. They just want to rebuild what the war scattered.
Draco Malfoy on the otherhand, returned for entirely different reasons — quieter than before, sharper in ways no one expected, and determined to prove he deserves a future beyond the wreckage of his past. With the unwavering support from Theodore Nott and Blaise Zabini, he just wants this year to be one he can be proud of.
None of them planed on late-night study sessions, reluctant partnerships, or the slow, steady shift from uneasy coexistence to something that feels dangerously like understanding.
