Summary
You see, The Fount of Knowledge was the last Virtue left.
The others had fallen from grace, fleeing or being chased out into the land of “Beat-Yeast”. This left him with a bunch of work to take care of and a lot of damage control to do. The Witches started putting even more pressure on him, and so had the cookies, but he knew they meant no harm. They loved him, he was sure of it, they just didn't want him following down the same path as the others.
They wanted him perfect.
OR/TLDR; As the final Virtue left after "The Fall", The Fount of Knowledge is expected to be perfect. He failed.

Summary
The air lightened as jokes began being cracked, and somehow 7 found himself sprawled on the floor as the trio shared conspiracy theories they could remember from their universes.
It wasn't perfect, far from it. The weight of being a Survivor hung heavy on all of their shoulders. The cold air where the sounds of their children playing while the adults talking was eerily silent, ghosts of the past haunting every corner.
OR/TLDR; 118o8, 226w6, and 007n7 are all parents who have lost their child. Left either nothing but Graves to lie in in the real world, the three 'ghosts' find solace in each other.

Grian can still remember that day he found his family. It was an accident, a very fortunate one. He had freshly escaped from The Watchers and was still woozy from blood loss yet high off of adrenaline. He had stumbled right into Scar, during one of the selkie’s hunting trips.
Scar had refused to leave him alone, refused to leave him to die. Grian had found him idiotic to be so attached to a stranger, foolish to be so prepared to sacrifice resources and energy to save another while it clearly wasn't worth it. While they were clearly already dying.
