Hayato whispered to Haruka, looking around as if expecting to see someone peeking from a corner. He grinned as he crawled closer to Haruka, motioning for the boy to come closer.
Haruka kneeled down next to Hayato, a confused glare still lingering as he leaned closer to the young boy.
“I have a dragon sealed in my eye, that's why I have an eyepatch!” Haruka could hear the grin in Hayato’s voice as he whispered so. The heterochromatic boy turns to look at the other, deadpan as he reaches out for the eyepatch, intending to pull it off to check for himself.
“You can't!” Hayato half yells, jumping backwards as he pushes Haruka’s hand away in a hurry, using his other hand to cover his right eye.
“Why can't I see it then? I saw your face earlier…” Haruka huffs, crossing his legs to sit down on the ground, resting his arm against the coffee table.
“...” Hayato freezes for a moment again, his visible eye widening again before regaining his composure just as quickly. “Because the dragon will hypnotize you… You never received training to face it before.” -
