In the middle of Season 12, specifically Episode 9< I chose to have Mary Winchester call up an old friend who can port anywhere. During that season, they searched for Kelly Kline, who was pregnant with Lucifer's kid, Jack. In this episode, Sam and Dean had exorcised him from the POTUS, but the Secret Service thought they were trying to assassinate them. I removed Amara and God from the equation after this point. To me, it seemed Kelly and Cas had a thing, so that was kept on track. Mary becomes a better mom and does not work with the Men of Letters. The whole god forcing Sam and Eileen together doesn't happen. Cas going to superhell with The Empty doesn't happen. I erased The Empty because I don't like it, and it was a jump the shark moment for me. Jack is still Cas's son. Kelly lives. Sam and Dean find the loves of their lives without Chuck's interference. I only write happy endings, so of course Dean lives. And Sam doesn't live 50 years without him. In the show, they state that Mary had been dead for 33 years, so we go off of that, even if it doesn't entirely match what date it was supposed to be. Sam is 33 and Dean is 37. (Note: I do not ship Destiel but will defend your right to see it that way.)
