“What?” Scar says, soft as night and rightfully confused, considering how the past five minutes have been an absolute downer.
“You were considering it, right?”
“Yeah, but I don't wanna get you involved,” Scar says, dismissive. “I was just thinking about it.”
It’s barely a few minutes before the clock strikes and he’s forced to deal with other matters. His tea’s gone ice cold and he still hasn’t finished any work, but he’d rather suffer and deal with it later than leave Scar with the impending anxiety of his future without him there, consequences be damned.
“But if I wanted to?”

Scar gulped and froze in his place when the person that looked like Grian strode closer to him in careful and menacing steps, a sword materializing in his right hand and a shield that looked well used gripped in his other hand.
"Who are you really?"
Scar instinctively raised his hands, his voice raising to an octave at the blade on his neck as he explained with a panicked yell, "No— no, seriously, I'm Scar!"
"It's just that— I'm not your Scar and you're not my Grian!"
The other only narrowed his eyes.
"—I think." Scar added meekly after, sweating profusely.

Summary
Xisuma has been quiet about the new hermit. Being added a couple months into the server with no prior vote or warning. He seems more death prone than Skizz but a incredible builder when he's not in a death loop. Grian hasn't had a chance to speak to the man himself. Until he appears at the Permit Office's front desk asking for a mob permit. Maybe this is his chance to understand why this guy seems so... familiar?
Grian doesn't know that there was never a "new guy". Just his soulmate, a man the entire world has forgotten.

Summary
A group of hunters has been sent by the king out to a newly claimed forest territory. Their job? Clear it of any pests that may hinder the expansion of the kingdom or may just be a general nuisance like wolves, fox, boar, and the most dangerous of all, harpies.
Now, Scar's never seen a living harpy, but he's not stupid. Everyone and their mothers know they're blood-thirsty killers, mindless animals at best, demons sent from hell itself at worst. Everyone also knows that a harpy could kill you in three seconds flat. But if that's the case, why is he still alive?

The LIFE Organization was many things, each more controversial than the last.
It was a shock to no one when they became started becoming Sell-Outs. What was a shock, was them opening up auditions for who would become face for their beloved mascot "CuteGuy".
A certain vigilante, saw this as the perfect opportunity too infiltrate the shifty company. What he didn't realize, was that this meant working practically alongside his past enemies..

During his mostly aimless wandering, he suddenly discovers a clearing within the dense forest with a single, gigantic mansion sitting in the middle of it, and, with his explorative curiousity getting the better of him, he finds himself inside, alone, and in more danger than he initially expected.

Even if he managed to somehow escape, he has nowhere else to go. The Watchers have been his family since he was found and rescued as a child, they are all he knows. Even though it wasn’t always — or ever, if he was honest with himself — easy, they were there for him. What is he thinking, he can’t turn his back on them, even if he escaped they would find him and—
Well. No one has ever escaped the clutches of the Watchers alive.
Green eyes flash in his memory.
A dashing smile. A…bared chest?
“You must be new,” the pirate smirks and Grian grits his teeth.
“That’s none of your business,” he spits.
“Cute,” he says, condescending. A voice calls for the pirate before Grian can attack him again and he throws a charming smile his way.
“Until we meet again,” the pirate pulls off his hat and waves it at him, as he jumps off the ship while holding onto a rope connected to his own — presumably stolen — ship.
The only man he knows stupid enough to openly defy the Watchers and somehow get away with it.
Grian resists the urge to groan out loud. He can’t believe he’s going to ask Scar for help.

Scar froze for a second, searching for an escape. “Thanks,” he finally said.
Grian’s laugh was soft, calm, and unexpectedly endearing. “Thanks for what?” he asked, tilting his head.
