As the Temple burns around them, Shaak Ti, a group of younglings, and their creche master escape through a long-forgotten tunnel into the lower levels. Bail Organa, with his own rescued Jedi tag-along, finds them and decides to help. As they discover more and more survivors of the Purge, Bail decides to start smuggling his stray Jedi to Alderaan.
