Lunafreya heard talking. Prompto’s higher voice, Ignis’ lower register - and one girl’s voice. Lunafreya rushed forward, stumbling out into a open area. “Iris!”
Iris' head snapped up. Her face was tearstained; her expression crumpled when she saw Lunafreya.
Lunafreya rushed to her, reaching for her with both hands - her left hand seemed to have blood on it, so she dropped it and cupped Iris’ cheek with her right instead. “Are you alright? Are you injured anywhere?”
“Luna, you’re hurt,” Iris said weakly.

When Insomnia falls, King Noctis sends his retinue from the city to find and assist Lady Lunafreya, who escaped two weeks before. Lunafreya rushes to forge the covenants as Noctis weathers a second siege on his city.

Summary
King Regis Lucis Caelum, Lord Clarus Amicitia, and Queen Sylva Via Fleuret are dead and a package confirms to Noctis that their murderers aren't who everyone says they are. Things used to be so much easier as black and white, but now the colors and perspectives are blending to grey. Untimely death and revenge will do that sometimes.

Summary
Prompto has suffered through emotional and physical abuse at the hands of his biological father and adoptive parents, the Argentums, until Cor Leonis takes him in and formally adopts him. Finally in a safe space, Prompto can start to recover from the years of abuse, but one of the lasting effects is selective mutism, rendering him unable to speak in anxiety-invoking situations. Encouraged by the king of Lucis, Regis, Cor decides that it's time to send Prompto to the private school in Insomnia to learn how to interact with others his age.
Meanwhile, Noctis is the prince of Lucis, thoroughly spoiled after an accident that left him scarred, both physically and emotionally. Like Prompto he is selectively mute, although he is further along in his recovery than Prompto is. His father doesn't mind that his son is pansexual, especially when Noctis reveals that he is dating prince Ravus of Tenebrae. However, Noctis quickly realizes that he is in over his head and may need help to get out before he ends up more wounded than before.

Summary

(Somnus is immortal because he killed Aera, the fucking Oracle! And he needed a more severe punishment then just becoming a member of the Lucii!) (Ardyn is still a sack of daemons and the prophecy involving Noctis and Ardyn still needs to come to pass.)
As the war with Nilfheim intensifies, Ardyn and Cor develop a healthy intimate relationship that turns into marriage and not long after, they end up adopting the cutest, yet stolen, Niflheim baby that Eos has ever seen. This series explores their life and how they handle a world that continually threatens to tear them apart.
However, the real question is: what happens when you cross a daemon, a soldier and stolen bio-weapon? You get the cutest family unit ever!!!

The screams came out of nowhere. Nyx whipped around, his eyes widening as tension set itself in his muscles, but he couldn’t see anything over the sea of people, still shorter than most. Pelna gripped his arm, not tight enough to hurt but enough so that they wouldn’t be easily separated.
