Words cannot say how much I think about this fic on a weekly basis. It is my immediate thought when asked what my favourite fic ever is. The characterisation and plotting skills are absolutely off the charts. I will always remember the morning I woke up and saw that Caesaria dropped an 80k length chapter. Genuinely my absolute hope for this is for the author to go on to write publishable works, because they should absolutely be getting paid for the quality of what they're giving out as a gift to the fandom. Can't recommend enough.

When there's a quiet breakout at Blackgate, an old enemy returns and Alfred gets a first-hand view of how Jason and Tim work as a team and under pressure. Watching them in action is both beautiful and terrifying and he is incredibly proud of the two boys. When Bruce returns in the middle of it all, he has to opportunity to offer some guidance. After all, Alfred was the adopted father of a genius vigilante long before Bruce was.
